Mara Halden
Brand and type
Fifteen years of identity work, half of it in a large agency and half of it since, deliberately, in a room above a bakery. Draws the wordmarks. Owns the good scalpel.
About / 04
Studio Halden started in 2016 with two desks, a shared printer and one client who took a chance on us. We have stayed small on purpose. The people you meet are the people who do the work, from the first call to the file you get at the end.
We work with businesses in Silver Hollow, Fernwood, Alder Creek and the towns around them: trades, clinics, shops, practices, the odd startup. Most of them are already good at what they sell. What they need is for that to be obvious in the first five seconds.

Web design and build
Designs in the browser, builds what he designs, and refuses to ship a page that takes more than a second to load on a phone in a car park.
Replace the initials blocks with real photographs of your team as soon as you have them.
How we work

Nobody enjoys the ritual where the number arrives on slide fourteen. Ours is on the services page and confirmed in writing after the first call.
Five routes is a way of making the client do the deciding. We bring the two we would defend and tell you which one we would pick.
Websites get designed in the browser, on a phone, at the size people will actually see them. Print gets printed before anyone signs it off.
Files, fonts, logins, source. If working with us stops making sense, you should be able to walk out with the whole thing in an afternoon.
The studio is at 123 Main Street, Silver Hollow. We meet clients here, or at your counter, which is usually more useful. Further afield we work by call and shared screen.
